To Powder or Not to Powder :Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder

This is the famous Ben Nye Banana Luxury Power. I was finally able to get my hands on it As you can see the color is yellow as the name says and it is mostly used to give light under the eye area especially for  women of color. In Mac foundations I am an NC15 and as you can tell I am very fair. The question is does this powder work on fair skin as Mario Dedivanovic states? The answer is yes as you can see from the pictures however they key to make this powder work for fair skin is moderation. I apply it with a Mac 224 and lightly apply it under my eyes. it's extremely finely milled and it gives a pretty natural finish. One thing is for sure though, it does not illuminate as on dark skin tomes.
In this picture above(left eye) I applied the Banana powder with a Mac 224 brush as I like it

Applied with damp Beauty Blender<-------    I prefer the finish on my left eye   ------>  light veil with Mac 224

In this picture above (my right eye) I applied the banana powder with a damp beauty blender as mario likes it.

Here you can see my under eye area as well as my face which was powdered with the banana powder. The end result is pleasant and it does have a little bit of an illuminating effect on my face but not around the eye! The powder is very silky and a dream to work with

Of all these powders my favorite one is Shiseido applied with a dry sponge or a beauty blender. The least favorite is the Mineral Veil by Bare Minerals

I have chosen to no longer powder as I am older now and powder just doesn't look good on me, however sometimes we do need a little bit of powder to set things and that is why the powder of prefrence to me wether it be for my face or for under my eyes is Mac's MSFN. Looooove this powder for foundation, or contour and even under the eyes!

The Thinnest Foundation in the World

Hi guys! I'm back with some reviews an rants. This is my all time favorite foundation! I got the idea from Enkore Makeup . He is a master at the DIY as far as makeup is concerned. I had some left over Bare Minerals foundation that I was tired of using due to the constant need to buff and buff. I watched some videos on what to do with mineral foundation and found out that it can be mixed in with any mixing medium. All you need is a mixing medium i.e. Mac or Kiko (cheaper) , some left over or new mineral foundation (I used Bare Minerals in Light and Fairly Light) Divide the bottle into 4 equal parts and you are ready to start. 1/4 is mineral foundation and the rest is all mixing medium (3/4) Make sure to shake very well beore you apply it. I use a real techniques buffing brush or the Sephora 55 airbrush foundation brush. This foundation is thin as water and immediately dries. It feels like my second skin. For more details check my video on YT (it's uploading now)
