My Desk and a few other things

So last Sunday I found the perfect old kitchen table at a local market. You might say, what does she want to do with it??? Well, why not make it into a desk??
 First I gave it a first layer of paint. The paint I use is a satin finigh with a antiqued feel
The top and the drawers were painted a ivory color...The last touch was to sand paper this baby to gove it a even more antiqued look
And voila'!!! This is my desk and my new Mac computer! Next time I will show my long awaited Canon EOS 600D

    I love your desk.. you did an awesome job on it.. it looks % better.. very vintage and Victorian looking, it's beautiful.
    You have lots of room on it now. Your Mac PC is also very nice too.... looks like you are getting all set up like the pros..haha... Can't wait to see everything in action girl!!! he he he.

    I would also love to do this kind of work. Gives great pleasure isn' it? Your desk was wonderful. I also love to mix antique pieces in decorating. At home I keep an antiques china armoire and a small rack in the living room, mixed with very modern leather sofas and glass coffee tables. And Oriental rugs to give a cozy touch, since my floor is dark wood.
    Go slowly and don't overcharging with the electronic stuff.
    I know how these things are. Thankfully I have a husband expert, but still do not rest until assimilate everything. lol

    I love what you've done with this desk!! The finish is lovely, and I especially love that you painted the drawers a different color...well done indeed! Also, I see you got your new computer, congratulations love.
